Dear Players, Parents, and Supporters,
September is here, and the fall baseball season is starting. With school, practices, games, tournaments, and other commitments filling the calendar, it's important to stay consistent with your training.
In this month's newsletter, we will highlight the importance of practice and lessons, along with our Player of the Month, Pro Tip, and Video Analysis. Let's make the most of the fall season and keep working toward continued development and success!
🥎🏆 Player of the Month:
Taylor Swaggerty

Taylor’s dedication during our sessions has truly paid off. She has remained focused on refining her hitting and strengthening her mindset, leading to consistency at the plate. As Taylor shared, “Hitting is an important part of softball and I want to help my team and do well.” Her swing and confidence have made tremendous strides. We are incredibly proud of her hard work and unwavering determination to keep improving.
Congratulations Taylor...our very first softball Player of the Month!👏
Behind the Stats

Coach Tisch: What’s the biggest change you have made to your swing?
Taylor: "I have had many changes with my swing but the biggest change that has helped me has been making sure I use my hips and legs.”
Coach Tisch: You’ve become more consistent in your at-bats. What do you think clicked for you?
Taylor: "I have stopped putting so much pressure on myself, and started to have a plan at the plate, depending on the situation.”
Coach Tisch: How has your mindset changed?
Taylor: "I have learned how to be more positive and not focus on the negative. I have reset routines that I do/say whenever I make an error.”
Coach Tisch: What would you tell a teammate that is thinking of training with me?
Taylor: "I would say to be prepared to make a lot of big changes that might be uncomfortable at first but will help you in the long run.”
💡Pro Tip from Coach Tisch
Focus on these three pillars to transform your play this year! 📈
✨QUALITY
Development happens in practices and on your own. You should be focusing on a specific movement every practice. Whether it’s your swing, pitching mechanics, or footwork for fielding, real change comes from focused repetitions.
🧘 MINDSET
Your mind needs to be strong and prepared before the games even start. Visualization is a great tool to help you prepare. It will help you by preparing your mind for any situation that may arise during the games.
🏗️ GROWTH
Growth takes time and failure. You have to be willing to challenge yourself, get uncomfortable, and make mistakes along the way. This is where the real progress happens.

Stop Hard-Wiring Bad Habits: Invest in Lessons
Think of your development like a trip to the driving range: if you keep swinging the same way without an expert assessment, you're just hard-wiring bad habits. True performance isn't built by simply playing more games; it's built by identifying the flaws in your swing and consistently practicing the right movements until they become second nature.
Tournaments reveal your progress, but the driving range, bull pens, and batting cages are where the transformation happens. Lessons correct bad habits and reduce the risk of injury. The goal is clear: stop practicing the wrong way and start investing in lessons that actually improve personal records and win games.
